St. Stephen's Preschool Wine and Beer Tasting Party Saturday, February 20, 2010 7:00 p.m. Carraway-Davie House On Saturday, February 20, we will have our annual fundraiser for the preschool.  Please join us at the Carraway-Davie House at 7:00 for a Wine & Beer Tasting with delicious hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction, and fabulous entertainment by Jimmy Gauld and Laine Poole.   Tickets are $30 before Febuary 1 and $40 after the 1st, so hurry and reserve your spot.  You can buy wine or beer tasting vouchers for $15 each, which are good for 4 tastings and one full glass of your favorite sampling.  We will have a raffle for a live mobile television, Flo TV.  It's a small personal, wireless television that you can take with you anywhere and never miss your favorite show.  Raffle tickets are $5.  If you can't make it on the 20th, this is a great way to support the Preschool.  We will also have the teacher wishes displayed - wish lists of items teachers would like for their classrooms.  We will put the wishes outside of the classrooms the week of February 15th, so you are welcome to purchase them before the Fundraiser.  Also, each class is making a precious "hand" painted terracotta pot that will be available in the silent auction.   There is only one per class, so make sure you place your bids!   Many thanks to Georganne Perrine and all her committees for their hard work as well as the Effingers and Corretti Catering for the venue and food.  Thanks to the Schilleci Family, Supreme Beverage, and  Rush Wines for their help with the tasting event.  I hope to see you there!   Please contact Leslie Dunlap for tickets or more information. 967-6317   leslie@ssechurch.org                     Ken Effinger and Rebecca Correti have generously donated their beautiful accommodations again this year and we are so excited to raise money our preschool.  We will once again have wish lists for our teachers in the form of "stars".  You simply purchase a star and we will buy the item for the teacher.  Stars will be available in front of the classrooms prior to the auction for those who cannot attend the event. If you have any questions, please call or email Leslie Dunlap in the preschool office.  We are hoping for all of our parents as well as friends and family to join us for this fantastic event.  It is a wonderful opportunity for you to visit with parents that you know as well as meet some that you don't.  We hope to see you there!
